Subjects covered include player availability, appointment of directors, arrangements for away supporters attending White Hart Lane, confirmation of fixture, season tickets, issue of shares etc. Early Club signatories include Billy Minter, Percy Smith (Managers), and A.W. Turner (Club Secretary) etc. G

Tottenham Hotspur season 1906/07. Original 'Tottenham Hotspur Football and Athletic Company Limited' cheque no. 1951 for The London & Provincial Bank Limited White Hart Lane Branch, made out to A.N. Turner for 'Ground wages' dated 15th September 1906 for £10-5-6. The cheque with official bank cancellation stamps is nicely signed in ink by two Club directors, C.D. Roberts and M.F. Cadman, and the secretary, A.W. Turner. Additionally signed in ink to verso by Turner. Light folds, otherwise in very good condition

Arthur Turner was appointed as Club Secretary in 1906 to allow the then Manager, John Cameron, to concentrate on team affairs. Following Cameron's resignation in 1907, and the short-lived tenure of his successor, Fred Kirkham, Turner was given responsibility for running the side until 1912. He was appointed Manager again in 1942 seeing the Club through the difficult remaining war years, and continued to serve the Club until his death in 1949

Tottenham Hotspur season 1906/07. Original 'Tottenham Hotspur Football and Athletic Company Limited' cheque no. 2142 for The London & Provincial Bank Limited White Hart Lane Branch, made out to Mr J. Cameron, dated 18th February 1907 for £15. The cheque with official bank cancellation stamps is nicely signed in ink by two Club directors, M.F. Cadman and one other, and the secretary, A.W. Turner. Annotation in ink to verso, 'J. Cameron. Sold'. Light folds, otherwise in very good condition

John Cameron signed to Spurs in 1898. Following the resignation of manager Frank Brettell in 1899, Cameron was appointed player/ manager. After a run of poor results, and disagreements with the directors, Cameron resigned on 13th March 1907, just a few weeks after this cheque was issued.

Club Secretary, Arthur Turner, was appointed in 1906 to allow Cameron to concentrate on team affairs

Original ornate pictorial 'Tottenham Hotspur Football and Athletic Company Limited' cheque no. 1596 for Barclays Bank Limited, Tottenham, made out to 'The Tottenham District Light Heat & Power Co.', dated 4th November 1925 for £46-3-8. The cheque with official bank cancellation stamps is nicely signed in ink by two Club directors, G. Wagstaff Simmons and M.F. Cadman, and the secretary, A.W. Turner. Official signature of receipt and duty stamp to verso. Light folds, file and pin holes to top edge, otherwise in very good condition

Coventry', dated 5th December 1929 for £81-17-0. The cheque with official bank cancellation stamps is nicely signed in ink by two Club directors, M.F. Cadman and G. Cox, and the secretary, A.W. Turner. Official signature of receipt of C. Coventry and duty stamp to verso. File and pin holes to top edge, otherwise in very good condition

Tottenham Hotspur. Original official four page agreement/contract between Walter Richard Bellamy and Arthur White Turner, Club Secretary of Tottenham Hotspur to play for Spurs for the 1929/30 season. Signed by Bellamy and Turner in ink and witnessed by the Team Manager, Billy Minter. Date stamped 24th April 1929. VG

Tottenham Hotspur 1960/61 'Double winning season'. Excellent collection of seven mono 'real photograph' collectors cards published by 'The Star' October 1960. These photographs were used in the book 'The Untold Story of Spurs' by Bill Nicholson. Cards are Terry Dyson (signed in blue ink to the photograph by Dyson), Les Allen, Maurice Norman, Bobby Smith, Peter Baker, Ron Henry and John White etc. Each measures 4"x6". Pin holes to top edge of four cards, otherwise in very good condition

Blue file comprising a good selection of seven official club leaflets, each depicting printed players' signatures and/ or team photograph for seasons 1950/51, 1951/52, 1960/61 (League and F.A. Cup 'Double' winners), 1962/63 (European Cup Winners' Cup winners), 1965/66, 1970/71 and 1971/72. Other ephemera includes 'Daily Express Community Singing' sheets for Wembley Cup Finals, v Leicester City 1961, v Burnley 1962 and v Chelsea 1967. Publishers include Evening Standard, Sunday Times, Weekly Herald, Coventry Evening Telegraph etc. Also three '3D' posters of Ardiles, Villa and Hoddle, with printed signatures, in original packaging, and an official calendar for 1981.
