The American Girl to all the World', 'School Days', 'One Difficulty of the Game. Keeping your eye on the ball', 'A Little Incident. Showing that even inanimate objects can enter into the spirit of the game', 'Advice to Caddies. You will save time by keeping your eye on the ball, not on the player', and 'Golf is not the only game on Earth'. An anomaly exists whereby the copyright dates of the majority of the prints included range from 1898 to 1900, whereas a publication date of 1896 is stated on the title and acknowledgement pages. Some faults, including age toning and some staining to boards, the title page partly pasted down to the front endpaper, splitting to page block with some pages partly detached, old tape repairs to internal hinges. The American, Don Budge, was the first tennis player to achieve the 'Grand Slam' of major tennis tournaments in a single year, and remains the only man to win the 'Triple Crown' of singles, doubles and mixed doubles at the same tournament, doing so on three separate occasions in 1937 and 1938, twice at Wimbledon and once at the U.S. Open.
