Both editions bounds in black boards lacking original wrappers. Both lacking spine papers, minor wear, slight breaking to spine blocks, staining to some internal pages to the 1887 edition, otherwise in good condition. Also 'Athletic News Football Annual 1890' bound in black boards lacking original wrappers. First four pages becoming detached, otherwise in good condition. All three titles appear complete. Sold with a complete run of the 'News of the World Football Annual' for 1963/64-1986/87, all uniformly bound in black boards, original wrappers retained. Original mono press photograph of the Arsenal footballer, Alf Kirchen signing autographs for two boys, with Tom Whittaker (Arsenal trainer), Vic Buckingham (Tottenham Hotspur), and Ted Drake (Arsenal) in military uniform looking on. The photograph was taken at Dulwich Hamlet for a Football Association XI v R.A.F. XI match played 30th March 1940. An accompanying page from the Sunday Graphic published the following day features this photograph.
